It was 25 years back that I picked up the passion for dancing with specialization in ‘Indian Classical’ namely Bharat Natyam and Kathak. In the process gained an exposure to various ethnic tribal communities in India, which prompted me to pick up various traits of Indian Folk Dancing. Gradually I grew up with this passion and started transformation of these dancing skills to the stage. After performing on various occasions in India, my skills and support from some well-wishers launched me on to an international forum of performing arts. Since then there has been no looking back. I performed in various countries across Europe, over the years. I was overwhelmed by the feeling of representing my country, India, in International Dance Festivals. While fulfilment of my passion for dancing continued I started teaching in Performing Arts through my institution named Natraj Institute of Performing Arts. This was re-christened as Natraj Academy of Performing Arts Pvt. Ltd. recently. Now I am based in and operate from Mumbai. I also sharpened my skills for choreography during the ensuing period and still continue to do so. As my endeavours as, above continue, I evolved the concept of ‘Conservation of Nature through Performing Arts’ and thus, I was chosen as ‘Brand Ambassador’ of the’ Wildlife and We Protection Foundation (Mumbai and Silvasa) which is one of the upcoming names in ‘Conservation Oriented Development’ I have been an international trainer for Indian Classical and Folk Dances and now, I am also involved with providing faculty inputs to School of Creative Arts in universities abroad.
